Working with Catwalk Creatives, Label Marketing developed a strategic digital marketing strategy to launch their new product, OYOYO. This pan African launch included social media management, website content, press communications, email marketing and sales presentations.
The OYOYO app is a digital platform that connects African fashion designers with clients across the world. The ethos of indigenous skills being brought to the global stage is important to the company and so all content and graphics reflect this. Taking inspiration from the colours of the landscape and the heritage of each state, the posts contain eye catching graphics and relevant content and hashtags.
Using social media, connections were made with fashion influencers and brand ambassadors to support content development and build reputation. A press campaign concentrated on tech titles as well as business and fashion and generated news coverage along with features.
Consistent messaging and continual development of the app has generated an engaged audience which aligned with the targets of the business.
